Volunteer for Your Park!

There are lots of ways to get involved, and Partnerships for Parks is the leading NYC resource to help you get connected to a citywide network of people and organizations who need your help!

  • Help a Community Park Group - Find a local group that cares for your neighborhood park or Green Streets and learn how you can get involved!
  • Care for street trees - Connect with NYC organizations and volunteers who lead tree care trainings and organize their friends and neighbors to care for street trees.
  • Celebrate It's My Park Day! - Join Partnerships for Parks and thousands of New Yorkers to volunteer and celebrate parks throughout the five boroughs in May and October!<
  • Organize a Corporate Service Project - Partnerships for Parks will work with you to plan a meaningful project in a New York City park for your group..
  • Connect Your Organization to Parks - Does your youth organization want to improve their monthly volunteer days at the park? Does your block association need help recruiting members to care for street trees? Learn how Partnerships can help your group provide sustainable support to neighborhood green spaces.
  • Contact a Partnerships For Parks’ Staff Member - Read through this page, and still not sure how to get started? Give us a call to learn more!
